Jodie is an award-winning photographer and director working across fashion, beauty and fine art.

Rooted in her Scottish heritage, she draws on the region’s rich landscapes and culture to shape a perspective defined by drama, identity and a raw connection to nature. She explores these ideas through the female form - creating images that feel both intimate and cinematic.

She brings her distinct visual style to projects across fashion and haircare, bespoke art for luxury hotels, music and dance, and independent creative work. Her clients include Barbour, Sorel, W Hotels, Nokia, Hunger Magazine and The National Lottery.

With over 14 years experience and mentorship under Nick Knight, Jodie’s approach is intuitive and collaborative, focussing on stories that bring out the strength and presence of her subjects. She works closely with clients throughout the entire process, shaping ideas from concept through to execution.

“I began my journey into image-making at 17 years old. Whilst living and working in the Scottish Highlands, I started collaborating with my sister Jocasta - a digital illustrator. Together, we created a fine art photo-digital exhibition inspired by the characteristics and folklore of the Highlands, expressed through the human form. The work was selected by the UK’s leading art publisher - Washington Green - to be exhibited nationally, and soon formed the basis of my style and practises today.

I believe that collaboration and great storytelling are the two fundamental pillars for creating powerful imagery. In every aspect of my work, I approach each project with great passion and ambition to make brands unforgettable; capturing everything they are, or aspire to be. Having lived and worked in some of Scotland’s most sought-after areas for film & photography, I’ve been provided endless stimulation for my imagination. It is what enthrals me most and gives me the best ideas.”
